Everyone should have a virus scanning program installed on their computers as a matter of course, unfortunately some of the programs do not always catch every virus, especially newly created ones.

Many viruses work without the user knowing they are there, some delete important files from the hard drive, some send the browser history to a particular place and others can even collect credit card information.

Around 90% of viruses can be found and removed but if the virus cannot be located or deleted our usual course of action is a windows re-install, but don’t worry we can still backup all of your important documents before we wipe the computer clean and copy them back over after the new system is installed.
